PLAYING A DVD USING THE COMPUTER

With your left hand, you will feel a button on the lower third left side rear of the computer.

This will open the DVD compartment.

·        PUSH BUTTON TO OPEN DVD COMPARTMENT

·        CAREFULLY SNAP DVD ONTO SPOOL WHILE SUPPORTING FROM BEHIND

·        CLOSE THE DOOR

·        WAIT FOR COMPUTER TO DISPLAY VIDEO TITLE

·        CLICK ON TITLE

·        CLICK ON PLAY, OR CHAPTER YOU WOULD LIKE TO PLAY

·        CLICK ON FULL SCREEN TO FILL WITH VIDEO

·        ADJUST VOLUME ON COMPUTER. IF MORE VOLUME IS DESIRED, ROTATE VOLUME CONTROL CLOCKWISE WHERE PROJECTOR IS TURNED ON

PROJECT MENU/ TROUBLESHOOTING

There are four options available when displaying the computer to your class:

1.      PC SCREEN ONLY:  picture shows on computer only

2.      DUPLICATE:                       same picture on computer & projector         

3.      EXTEND:                            different computer / projector images *

4.      SECOND SCREEN:  picture shows on projector only

To access these options, press and hold the WINDOWS key followed by the P key and RELEASE:                                                 

A “PROJECT” menu will appear on the right side of the screen. SELECT DUPLICATE TO SHOW YOUR VIDEO.
