Configuring Zoom for RDP
Using Zoom in Remote Desktop Services
The first time you want to use Zoom in RDP you will need to make some configuration changes.
· On the task bar, search for RDP and open Remote Desktop
· Select the “Show Options” button and then select the “Local Resources” tab.
· Click on the More button near the bottom and then check the boxes for Video Capture Devices
· Click OK and then click the “General” tab and select “Save”
· Double click the RDP-1 icon to launch the RDP session (you will need to be connected to the VPN).
· Once logged into your RDP desktop, search for “Settings” on the taskbar and open the Settings App. On the left select “Privacy and Security”.
· Select “Camera” and the toggle the switch to “Let desktop apps access your camera”
· Make sure the switch to allow Zoom to access the camera is toggled.
· Click on “Privacy and Security” and select “Microphone”
· Make sure the same toggles are turned On for the microphone
· When you launch your first Zoom meeting, make sure your Audio and Camera settings are set to your redirected Speakers and Camera
